My favorite in the Drago family of restaurants. You haven’t lived until you’ve tasted their burrata caprese – creamy mozzarella with Heirloom tomatoes. Baked eggplant stuffed with pasta is another great appetizer. Each is a large portion and can be shared. And the mushroom soup – wow. The regular menu carries a dizzying array of top notch entrees: branzino, osso bucco, veal chop, lamb chop. Each night brings its own assortment of specials, which often includes yet another preparation of branzino.
Then there’s the wine list. How many places pour Barolo by the glass?
Finally, this is a great place to practice your Italian. It feels like the entire staff is Italian and they are more than willing to converse with you in their native tongue.
Parking is up the driveway along the west end of the restaurant. Try not to breeze on by. It’s a long way around the block.
